What genres and music styles do your DJs cover?

Our DJs are well versed in a wide variety of genres. The genre range extends from the classic oldies from the 1950s and 60s to the latest radio and club hits of today. You can find the corresponding music genres in the respective DJ profile. See DJs.

Can we submit a set list or music requests in advance?

That is of course possible. Music requests will be taken into account both in advance and spontaneously at the event if possible and will be happy to fulfill them if the mood allows it.

How do your DJs handle music requests during the event?

Music requests will be incorporated into the program as soon as possible, depending on the possibility and mood, if they fit in. If they do not match the client's wishes, they unfortunately cannot be fulfilled or can only be fulfilled with the client's approval.

How does the DJ adapt to the theme or style of the event?

Our DJs will only be placed if they can really implement the topic perfectly in the evening. For this we need some information from the client. Of course, direct consultation with the DJ is also possible.

What happens if the booked DJ gets sick or cancels?

PPU offers a “worry-free package” which is included in the package price. In the event of failures, there is always a PPU-certified substitute or a backup DJ who is familiar with all the information about the order. It almost never happens, but when it does, we take care of it and the client is informed promptly.

Is there a minimum playing time for bookings?

Since a DJ with one assignment per day usually cannot accept any further orders, we set the minimum booking time at a flat rate of 7 hours. Of course, you can also book the DJ for a much shorter period of time. In individual cases, discounts may also be possible.

Do you offer packages with sound and lighting technology?

Do you offer additional services such as a photo booth or special lighting effects?

We have a lot of lighting effects in our repertoire, but we leave the photo box to the professionals - many of whom we have already gotten to know. We would be happy to make a recommendation upon request.

How long does setup and sound check take before the event?

On the one hand, this depends on the size of the order and, on the other hand, on the delivery route from the loading zone to the stage in the location. If the technology is already available, the DJ can complete his sound check within half an hour. Assembly time averages between 1 and around 3 hours, depending on the size.

What are the costs of booking a DJ?

The prices depend on the date, DJ set time, travel time and any additional costs. The question can therefore only be answered after an inquiry. Common and clear packages for orientation can be found here under tariffs
Quality has its price. There are many competitors who offer cheaper prices, possibly even without an invoice - very dubious... while others charge much more. Our tip: You shouldn't just compare the prices - the big difference lies in the overall performance. Our customers should feel comfortable with our offers and from the first contact to the last encore at their celebration. Feedback we get very often: “Your contribution to our event is actually priceless!”

How can I book a DJ for my event?

How far in advance do we need to book?

In general, requests can always be made spontaneously - with a bit of luck you might even get the DJ you want. In busy months, especially before the summer holidays and before Christmas, it makes sense to request very early as the appointments often fill up very quickly.

What does the DJ need from the event location in terms of equipment and setup?

We would be happy to clarify these questions directly with the responsible contact person at the respective location. Important points are: delivery routes and times, parking options, electricity, permitted volume.

How is the volume of the music controlled during the event?

Here too, we take the client’s wishes into consideration. As a rule, background music is played quietly and, depending on the situation and possibilities, the level is increased over the course of the evening by the DJ or the sound engineer on duty to suit the mood.

Is there a travel allowance for events outside a certain area?

Yes definitely. This is usually calculated as a flat rate. The billing of food and lodging for the performing DJs is also a common practice for further journeys to the location of the order and is already taken into account in the offer. We love to travel and can go almost anywhere, including outside of Austria.

What are the payment and cancellation conditions?

Payment term usually 30 days. Cancellation fees:
From 2 weeks before the event: 25% of the order value
From 1 week before the event: 50% of the order value
From 3 days before the event: 75% of the order value
On the day of the event: 100% of the order value

The agency POWER PRODUCTIONS UNLIMITED [ PPU DJ Service ] - was founded on August 27, 1994 by Johannes Willrader [ CHOSN ] in Vienna and serves the whole of Austria as well as in various European countries from Italy up to Iceland.
